Amber Joy Poulton's first original album "Taking Goodbye" co-written and
produced by Victoria's multi award winner Doug Bruce has been an immediate success.
She has spent over 30 weeks in the charts with hits, Rising Star, Close Enough, Break Even
and now Taking Goodbye (currently in the Top 30), Her last release Break Even make it
all the way to the Top 5! While award-winning sentimental song Good Old Fashioned Days
continues to receive radio play around the country and was awarded the
SA APRA Best Traditional Country Song of the Year 2009. She won the same
Best Song award for 2010 with the beautiful track, Taking Goodbye.
In 2011 she supported Kenny Rogers on his recent tour to SA, Melinda Schneider
and Brian Cadd and Russell Morris to name a few.

As well as her original material, Amber Joy has toured the country with her touching
tribute to the first queen of country in Honky Tonk Angels - The Story Of Loretta Lynn & Friends.
She will touch you all with her own songs and you won't be able to sit still as she takes you
on a journey through the biggest hits from Queens like Loretta, Tammy, Dolly, Linda Ronstadt, June Carter & more.


Amber Joy's debut original album, Taking Goodbye is full of traditional Australian country music and has launched her career and reputation as a serious singer & song-writer. Since it's release, the album has received two song-writing awards for Best Traditional Song & has had four songs enter the Top 30 of the Australian Country Music Charts. She has spent over 40 weeks in the charts with the album and her biggest hit yet, Break Even spent over 15 weeks in the charts and made it all the way to Number 5.
