ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Combat boots, body suits...jackets with one too many zippers. One hand is all but covered with treasures she's collected. The other left, free of adornments, to spasm at will. It's almost as if its sole purpose was to guide the sound. Top it off with lightning hair teased to the heavens....and you have Amber Yholeata, but thats just the tip of the iceberg.
Whether belting out a classic or giving life with one of her high energy, self-written records, this bluesy rock goddess draws you in immediately. With an energy reminiscent of Iggy Pop, the allure & vitality of Mick Jigger combined with the spontaneity of The Doors front man, Jim Morrison, She is a force that is purely undeniable.

A rare breed of artist in todays market
In a relatively short amount of time Amber has reached many milestones. In 2006 Amber Yholeata displayed her talents in a showcase for J Records' management label MBK, catching the eye of the well-respected J. Conrad Robinson (Vocal coach of Alicia Keys), whom she credits as not only her vocal coach but a trusted industry mentor. Later that same year she appeared in the independent film Saga Tier, written and directed by Eli Harris.
Amber has shared the stage with artists such as, Mario, Marques Houston, John Brown, Juelz Santana, The Persuaders, The Eurhythmics, Roy C, and the late Marvin Sease. She has also had the opportunities to open for Jill Scott rappers, Plies, Young Jeezy.

In 2009 Ambers debut effort, forever, was released too much success. Executively produced by SoundH with engineering by Dustin "Deuce" Scott, the self-funded project featured album favorites Thursday Mornin', New & Improved ,& Forever.

Since the release of her first album this multifaceted artist has been developing a sound all her own. "So What",the first single from her upcoming sophomore effort(set for release in september), is a high energy dance record with both Europop & Trance influences. Its catchy and simultaneously retains its substance. "So What"will be available for download on i-Tunes April 5,2011
