Album Notes

AMBIII arose from an ongoing screenplay/CD soundtrack project developed by Seattle Post-Intelligencer writer/editor Angelo Bruscas. "Song of Johanna" is the second CD in the soundtrack to the screenplay, "The Way Home," a Seattle-focused Pied Piper story that chronicles the redemption and rediscovery of a Pike Place Market songwriting legend who winds up in the eye of a media storm, passion play and clash of cultures during the explosion of the Seattle grunge movement. The accompanying 14-song CD takes the original songs developed for that project and gives them new life in a sweeping musical and lyrical journey that has influences and roots spanning from Dylan to Vedder, Bruce to Bono, Lennon to Matthews, Petty to Wilco, Neil to Nirvana.
All material is original and put together by Seattle-based brothers Angelo and David Bruscas. Angelo has been
writing songs for over 20 years while maintaining his journalism career in Seattle and across the West. David has produced and worked with dozens of bands in the Seattle-Tacoma area, as well as managing the production for this blossoming musical project. Recorded on analog 4-track, currently in the process of remastering 24 more songs at AMB III Productions in Tacoma, Wa. Information available at www.realnewsnet.net.
