Album Notes
America LaVonne began composing music as a small child. She has traveled around the world as an Air Force dependent, and on mission trips with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). Her songs are moving and full of depth. She writes from her heart, either from her own experiences, or from her empathy with friends. Amy has been performing specials in churches since she was 10 years old, and has performed in several charity concerts. She has been a worship leader in various ministries, and has also been the singer in numerous weddings, even writing a song specifically for the couple on occasion. “Free to Be Me” is the culmination of a life-long dream, and comes from the pages of her journal as she has grown in her relationship with God.

Great stuff
I got this CD recently and I couldn't wait to hear it. I don't typically listen to stuff without knowing a bit about the artist first, but I was compelled by a family member to check America out, so I did and I'm very glad too. Great song writing and the production isn't overdone making everything sounding like everything else. Each songs has its own character. I totally dig America's voice too.

Love, Loss, Faith
After my step fathers passing I heared the song I Miss You and knew it would touch my Moms heart. Mom heared the song I Miss You and it touched her so deeply. The love her and my step father shared was special everyone around them knew that. No one knew how hard it would be and painfull. This song now brings my Mom joy in the memories they shared and strength to carry on.

Great new artist
America Lavonne is a great new artist. I expect to hear more from her in the future. She writes and performs all of her own songs. As she developes, and matures, her voice will get stronger, and more defined. Her ungelations are spectacular. Listen to the lyrics, they are full of meaning.
