American Drag is saving Rock and Roll's ass! All the old band's try to put out new albums, and they're never really any good, and if they are any good, they still aren't any better than the band's best album back in the 70s. American Drag, however, has still got that creativity that seems to go with age, and even better, no gimmick. They just play really good, intelligent, well constructed music. Both of their albums are excellent.

PAPER AND SCISSORS-WATCH OUT! ROCK IS NOT DEAD. My  last CD Baby purchase was Brushfire Fairytales when this was the only place you could get it and this record deserves all the success and more that Jack J. had with that one.The band evokes memories of sounds from early Allman Brothers Band,Pearl Jam,The Jayhawks and others while remaining fresh and original in their approach. The only problem I have with this record is that I can't take it out of my player and get my beloved Hold Steady,Bon Iver and other faves back in. Go at once. Get this record. You will smile! American Drag is a wonderful listening experience. This is fresh rock music,the lyrics are original and the voices match the instruments well. You would not believe these talents are as young as they are. The musicians are very seasoned individuals. I Love It!
