Album Notes

American Wicker-'Meet The Crocuses'

The internal rewards of creating an album without being tainted by rhetoric media or trendy conciousness is truly gratifying.Just to emulate the sounds of the culture which I embraced in its heyday is such an honorable task,I am truly blessed. The instrumentation is authentic-octave boxes, boss distorted guitars with wah-wah pedals, organs that sound like Farfisas,Panthers or Hammonds.A dude came up to me the other day and remarked;'Dude, you sound like our dead keyboard player'.I looked at him and said,'Yeah, how about that?'
A Crocus is the first bulb bursting out in Spring.Methinks we was all Crocuses once.So this album should appeal to young and old alike. So I welcome you to American Wicker's third endeavor,'Meet The Crocuses'.
Please enjoy your trip through this door.
