Her CD touched my soul
author: Tom Pond
I have known Harriet since she was about seven years old. We were an item in the fourth grade but both moved on. Her CD truely touched my soul. I Wont Be Here Long brought tears to my eyes and Teach Me to Fly made me take a hard look at my life and dreams. Harriet has grown up a lot since the fourth grade, as I would expect her to do. I don't think I really know her anymore but her music speaks directly to me in so many ways.
Good Luck and much future success Harriet. Just don't forget that kid in your fourth grade class because he will never forget you.
Tom.

Harriet has a unique style of playing and writing that makes you sit, lean a bit closer, close your eyes and listen intently to every word. My favroite song has been and still will be Teach Me To Fly

expertly produced, exquisite melodies, sweet voice
author: Emily Sanders
Harriet Ames' music touches our hearts with amazingly universal themes presented in a very unique way. Her lilting voice and expertly produced arrangements by Nashville's treasure, Mike Dunbar, make this CD truly exceptional! All of the songs have strong commercial appeal, but I particularly enjoyed "And the Sailor Needs the Sea", which Ames co-wrote with Bobbie Gallup and Corky Bernard.
