Album Notes

Ampiphy is a Dutch band formed in 2006 by Vincent Le Blanc (vocals, guitar, drums, keyboards), Martijn Oosterhuis (drums & percussion) and Ruben Heijnsbroek (bass guitar). These three friends have been practicing feverishly ever since.

Their musical influence is very diverse. From Elvis to U2. From New Wave to Grunge. In fact it’s quite interesting to watch these young guys (the youngest being 15 the oldest 16 years old) rediscover the old artists going back to the sixties whilst keeping in sync with the latest rage.

Vincent has been writing songs since his 10th birthday. He is determined to live a life full music. In his band members he has found dedicated buddies trying to acomplish the same dream. They have turned into a tight knit group with a strong rythm section keeping a steady beat to back up Vincents melodic vocal and guitar lines.


The songs on ‘Lonely Road’, Ampiphy’s debut mini CD, show Ampiphy performing melodic rock and a bluesy balled.
