Album Notes

I was born in Virginia and moved to New Jersey when I was ten years old. I grew up in East Orange, New Jersey as a
teenager, and then moved to Edison, New Jersey when I was 18 years old.

I served seven years in the United States Navy. I was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I have
traveled to many different places such as, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

I started rapping as a young teen. I was truely inspired by the whole Hip-Hop culture and especially by great lyricist such
as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Slick Rick, Large Professor, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Poor Righteous Teachers, Common, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J.

Around the age of 17 years old, my friend Cornell Walters was pushing me to get a record deal. But I did not take myself
serious.

Over the last three years, I decided that I should take myself serious and embrace my passion for making Hip-Hop
music. I was inspired by J Dilla's "Dilla Donuts" to pursue my music career. In the process, I taught myself how to make
beats and engineer songs. I never thought, in a million years, that I would be a beat maker. I guess it's true what they
say, "You can do anything if you put your mind to it." Now, I am totally independent in the creation of my music. I
produce the beats, write the songs, and master-mix the songs without even leaving the house, actually without leaving the
"basement."

I learned much about the music business and the production/engineering of music from the books that I bought from Barnes and Noble Book store and from the wisdom of established musicians.
