Not to be girlie, but this CD really talks to me as a mature woman. I am so sick of all the pre-pubescent shitpop out there. This CD is emotionally deep without being whiney -- not an easy task, I'm sure. Ruth and the gang aren't afraid to rock out, but they also know when when not to. This is the best band in Boston right now. Period.

These guys are way too good!

I met Ruth and Todd a couple years back (sold them a Powebook) and they dropped their CD on me. I have always been a fan of the Boston Female Lead sound (Til Tueday, Throwing Muses, Tribe etc) and they are just right on top of it all.
Buy this disk, go see them play and look for them as they almost surely will be HUGE someday...
