Album Notes

Hello,

I recorded this album as a kind of sonic postcard from the tumultuous autumn of 2001, and sold it as a fundraiser for health and education projects in Afghanistan. An amazing group of supporters donated money to cover recording costs, allowing me to pass on all of the money from hard-copy sales -- around $10,000 -- to the Afghan Institute of Learning.

I'm out of hard copies, but you can still download the songs on iTunes and other digital sites.

Thank you for listening,

Amy

From the song "My Fellow Americans:"

My fellow Americans
Do you know where your good dollar goes?
Do you know who you're paying?
My fellow Americans
Can you forgive us?
We know not what we do
It's easier that way...

REVIEWS

The young people, especially, need to hear Amy's messages.
author: Brett Thackeray
This compilation is extremely well done. I am impressed with the breadth and depth of the lyrics, the simple, melodic and memorable music, and the well executed messages that we so need to hear, learn and remember in today's world. Get this album and share it! You won't be disappointed.
