Album Notes

Hey Friend,

Thanks for your interest.

I really think listening to the music is preferrable to talking about it, so I'll keep this short, and just answer a few questions that might come up as you listen:

- I take on a lot of different voices on this album. So when I say "I" it is not always (or even usually) me, Amy, talking.

- The fundamentalist preacher characterized in "Satan, I Rebuke Thee" is based on a real person. The other characters are fictional, or conglomerates of different people.

- The soldier's story in "Home Uninjured" is true.

- "Consequences" was written as the U.S. Senate was voting to give Bush permission to invade Iraq. I had been trying to call in but all the voicemail boxes were full.

- This album was released in 2006.

I really appreciate you listening.

- Amy
