AnAkA (Anna-Kuh) is a Heavy Metal/ Hard Rock band from Brooklyn, New York, USA, whose musical influences are Alice In Chains, Black Label Society, Metallica, Corrosion Of Conformity, Down, Megadeth, Killswitch Engage, Pantera, Devildriver, Mudvayne and Black Sabbath, etc. AnAkA was originally formed in 2000 but has quickly established a fan base all over the world! AnAkA has performed and has also headlined historic and world famous NYC and NJ venues such as Irving Plaza, Blender Theatre, Warsaw, Starland Ballroom, The Knitting Factory, CBGB, Don Hill's, The Continental, L'Amour, Count Basie Theatre, etc. AnAkA can be described as a powerful live band, which can move their audience sonically, physically, and even psychologically.

AnAkA’s 2004 release, "Rust & Jade," which is the bands second studio album, was Produced and Engineered by Jerry Farley, an individual who has worked with major national acts such as Lamb of God, Demon Hunter, Breaking Benjamin, Ill Nino and Candiria, etc. "Rust & Jade" was Mastered by Dan Korneff, another very talented Producer/ Engineer that helped Produce Ill Nino, "Confession" and also Engineered and Mixed that album. The members of AnAkA strongly believe that "Rust & Jade" will show the rest of the music world what AnAkA is truly all about. AnAkA has also signed with a New York City based label called Godsend Records.
