ANALOGUE BIRDS
handnmouthmadedrumnbassdubbreaktrance
Since they started playing together in 2003, the band members of Analogue Birds
amazed their audience in Europe, Australia and the U.S.A.
With the recent trio, once more these musicians do present extraordinary sound
and groovy beats on the highest level:
The Didgeridoo, fascinating instrument of the native australians is here put in a context
of pumping rhythm and contemporary harmonics.
With the Analogue Birds, by means of the pecussive and extraordinary playing technique,
the listener witnesses the didgeridoo from a completely different angle.
Genrebreaking drumming, as well as unconventional bassplaying produce
driving rhythms, round subbasses and hulking effect layers to the "aboriginal stick".
In that way, the energetic interaction of the three musicians creates an innovative
sound experience for ears, legs and heart!
The Analogue Birds aren't commited to a certain surrounding for their gigs as well as
they aren't commited to a musically style, tradition or genre.
The trio with the stirring new sound does not only amaze in concerthalls,
clubs or on open air events. Parts of the band are world famous for charming the
international "busking" audience too.
The CD ”Analogue Birds in a Digital Sky” was made "Didgeridoo CD of the Quarter Year" by
the “International Didgeridoomagazin”
The german music fanzine “Folker” reviewed the recording in its online issue in the same year.
In 2004, the CD became on of the most sold Didgeridoo recordings at the american westcoast
and sold 6000 times so far.
2005 the “F.Victor Rolff Foundation” funded Album “Little Creatures” was released
The newest release "handnmouthmadedrumnbassdubbreaktrance" is a 5 piece EP and
representative for the recent trio sound. The CD was issued september 2006 on the
selfowned “Umlaut Recordings” Label and already amazes with extraordinary sales for
an independent production.

I have large didgeridoo CD collection. This is my 4th CD by Tomas Fronza and I've seen him live - one of the best! This CD is probably one of the most inovative didgeridoo based groups I've heard in the last 7 years of listening to and playing didgeridoo! AWESOME!
