An interesting mixture of rythms from the new "Latin American-fusion" sort

Most of people it can locate to the singer and Chilean composer Francesca Ancarola if it sharpens the ear and it listens to several commercial ones of the local television. Through well-known marks and products of consumption it annoys a powerful and clarified voice, able to give entity until the most insipid of the publicities. Nevertheless, this is only one smaller facet in the race of the interpreter, who until now accumulates four discs in her eclectic musical life, crossed by the jazz, Brazilian music, the fusion and soul. The last one of them is Sons of the Same Sun, that appears under the label of Petroglyph Record with base in New Mexico, the United States - and that the particularitity has to contain several of her songs in English. The disc is thought obvious for its international distribution and there the universal character of the selected language. In this sense, Ancarola surprises pleasingly with the good handling of the English language, giving of step a new upset and turn to the subjects of the plate. Co-produced by the Grammy winner Andy Byrd, Sons of the Same Sun unfolds through its ten songs an interesting mixture of rythms from the new "Latin American-fusion" sort, always rocked by the Ancarola´s jazzy origins, that also demonstrates its property like composer here.
