Album Notes

An avant garde entity using elements of musique concrete/noise collage using guitar, synthesizers, drum machine, loopers, and household tools to make a cacophony.

The USS Indianapolis was a ship that was sunk under mysterious circumstances during WWII, which is called the worst disaster in US Navy history by some. A large number of the crew were lost due to shark attacks. The captain was court marshalled for losing his ship, but was later exonerated in the 1940s. News of the exoneration was not released to the public in 1998.

Its cargo was delivered to the island of Tinian, which was later loaded onto the Enola Gay.

So the USS Indianapolis was the first craft on the sea to carry a man-made nuclear device, hence the soundscape.
