I admit.....i had a prejudice against electric bass, due to the fact that too many bassists use an incredible amount of chops...so often music is secondary! As a listener i prefer a type of music that touch my sensitiveness. This is a beautiful cd where you can listen to a bass playing fantastic like-horn solos...you can listen to a great jazz trio..a powerful swing...In this record, music is at the top.Awesome work!
