Album Notes

The Potomac Syndrome is an eclectic album. Self-produced, The Potomac Syndrome is the latest addition to Andre’s assorted catalog and features a mixture of many musical genres, including alternative pop/rock tunes to urban/r&b grooves in the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Meshell Ndegeocello, Rahsaan Patterson, etc. The album opens with the title track “The Potomac Syndrome,” a funk/rock inspired tune reminiscent of early Lenny Kravitz. Tracks like “Run To” and “Help Me” find Andre’s passion for love ignited. However, in contrast, songs like “Nebula” and “Tip of My Tongue” show Andre experimenting with technology and various synths suggestive of the early 80s.
