“When I married my husband his mother was already suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. I could see how the simplest everyday things in life had to be done for her and how difficult it was to see a strong and able Mother as helpless as a small child. I decided I needed to do something to help, not just physically to help his mother, but to help heal his heart as well. I started writing about the stories and photo’s Tony shared from her younger days. Still today, “Mama Tanaro” she still smiles that same old smile when her babies walk through the door, We pray every day for a cure.”

Music brought us together and Alzheimer’s is the disease both of our families has suffered.
