Cinema producer Mako Kamitsuna from Hiroshima, Japan, living in LA, make his music part of her film "Katya" featuring Russian star Chulpan Khamatova. Film was shown at Cannes, Berlin, Tokio Cinema Festivals.
He studied guitar, arrangement and composition in Music School and Music College in St.Petersburg, Russia and now is living in Ottawa-Gatineau, Canada and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Andrei has been compared favourably to many great guitar players, but has a style uniquely of his own. In 90's he performed for the Russian State Concert company "Lenconcert" and the "Old Petersburg " music theatre where he worked with famous Russian and Gypsy romance singers. He has given recitals in Canada, Ukraine, Estonia, USA, Germany, Russia. Andrei has recorded and performed for Russian (TV5 channel 22, Katusha, Baltika), US (PRI, KRNN) and Canadian Radio and TV (Rogers) channels. He composed original music for independent films in Europe, New Zealand, Australia and USA including music to documentaries about such famous artists as Toller Cranston(Canada), Mario Cabrera (Mexico), Lena Bartula (USA), Esteban Vicente (Spain) .
