Slide guitarist, songwriter and official Walden Guitars artist Andres Roots is best known for his work with Bullfrog Brown, the alt.blues trio from Tartu, Estonia. His solo debut consists of 12 self-penned tracks and features: Eric "Red Mouth" Gebhardt (USA) - vocals; Johan "Bottleneck John" Eliasson (Sweden) - vocals; Dave Arcari (Scotland) - vocals; Jukka "Black River Bluesman" Juhola (Finland) - vocals, baritone cigar-box guitar; Jantso Jokelin (Finland) - harmonica, beatboxing; Bad Mood Hudson (Finland) - drums, vocals; Kalle Kindel - drums; Uku Püttsepp - trumpet, drums, alto recorder; Ahti Bachblum - Hammond B3, piano, church organ; Raul Terep - percussion, didgeridoo; Hanno Maadra - viola. Andres Roots himself plays guitar, dobro and one-string diddley bow. The music was recorded in Estonia, in Alabama, in Sweden and in Scotland, produced by Asko-Romé Altsoo and Andres Roots, with cover art by Siret Roots. "Roundabout" was declared "Best European Blues Album" of 2010 by the Canadian Blues Underground Network and includes TV hits "Redecoration Day" (ETV Eesti Top7 #1), "Watcha Do" (#3) and "Lemon Days" (#2), as well as "Duck Soup" and "Flowers" - the two tracks included on the soundtrack of the popular Estonian TV series "Ühikarotid" in March 2011.
