There and Back is a concept album about the circle of love. Like the Moon, there is a dark side, love noir, This cd is the collaborative effort of three artists.
Liz Miller, a Philadelphia based songwriter, writes songs in every genre and works with a variety of talented singers. Liz conceived the project on a long car ride when nothing on the radio that day seemed even remotely appealing.She wrote the project with only one singer in mind
Andrew Burgoyne, a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter, has been compared to the legendary jazz vocalist Chet Baker. His smooth, breathy voice is hypnotic and sympathetic. Andrew has sung in film soundtracks and wowed audiences from N.Y. to L.A. with his casual cool.
Anthony Newett, a Philadelphia based producer-musician-songwriter, has hundreds of cds to his massive resume as well as film and TV credits. He has most recently been nominated for a Grammy award for his outstanding work on the independent film STRUT.

I was suprised by the diversity and ability of the band to incorporate rock and pop into a cool jazz sound. Every song was an unexpected new creation of sound.
