This is Andy Foyston's first CD album in what I am thinking will be just the start, followed by many, many more.
I have had the chance to hear a number of his songs on the SoundClick website and I must say that Andy is able to create beautiful melodies that convey very specific moods. Listening to these songs I find myself transported to the edge of the sea, staring at a sunset or running down some street in London with the local authorities close behind in a spy action thriller.
Every one of Andy’s songs has that special quality that brings out a myriad of emotions, mental images, and motion picture plots. Any movie producer would have a gold mine in their hands if they scooped up this talented artist and put him to work writing movie themes.

Stay With Me, an excellent easy listening gem

I initially 'discovered' Andy over on Soundclick where it immediately became apparent that here was music diverse in range of emotion, mood, and pacing, the kind of music that invokes images. 'Aztec Dreams' was the first I listened to.Then came 'The Chase' followed by others now to be found on this excellent CD. Easy to listen to, but never ever a dull moment and a penchant not only for a rhythm that moves right along, but a keen melodic structure as well, the kind of music hard to come by these days! This is a wonderful CD, well worth listening to over and over again.
