These solo percussion pieces each started life as an attempt to create a world through the use of sound. By treating the act of creating this music as an act of meditation, the listener is also drawn into that created world, leaving behind the dull nature of daily life for a brief moment, in order to experience the world of sound-art. The lingering effects of this musical journey can, in turn, affect the nature of our interaction with the world around us in daily life.
