Album Notes

There is No Underground works on several levels. Primarily a showcase of Andy Eppler's considerable songwriting talent, the album also reflects what is going on right now on in the music industry. There is No Underground is a testimony to the fact that the real art being made in music is not in the main stream; it's in what we used to call the underground but because of the internet indepenent musicians can make quite a spash.

Andy Eppler shines in this perfectly crafted work. The album is songwriting at it's finest and Eppler has hit the market with such fierce determination it seems there is nothing out of his reach.

You'll be sure to enjoy this instant classic for years to come.

REVIEWS

Great All-Around!
author: Robert Archer
I happened to hear Andy Eppler singing live on KUT (our NPR affiliate) a few weeks ago and immediately got online and bought this CD. On my first listen through of the album, I have to say I wasn't blown away. However, a few days later, I still had many of the songs stuck in my head. I went back and listened to the album again, and I haven't stopped listening to it since. The harmonies, melodies, and lyrics continue to invade my thoughts, and I'm perfectly fine with that. This CD showcases many different musical styles, and it includes some great lyrics as well (such as "I want to fall in love with someone who finds me unsatisfactory", and many others). Check out this CD written and performed by a real musician, not some over-produced studio creation.
