Andy Hearn is a songwriter from Blackpool in the UK. Drawn to songwriting by a love of the
music of The Beatles, The Stone Roses and Oasis, Andy spent 10 years writing songs before
posting his home recordings on-line at myspace in 2007. The songs were quickly getting a
lot of great feedback and Andy has received messages of support from all over the world.

2008 Saw some local press coverage and Andy's first radio plays with his song "Random Act
Of Kindness" being played on Blackpool's Mood Radio and the songs continued to gather a
lot of interest from people appreciating what Andy was trying to put together.

Recorded at home on an 8 Track Recorder, these early recordings were rough and 'muddy' due
to the fact Andy's Microphone was not a Directional one. Tree's Dene Kellaway recognised
Andy's natural songwriting talent and also a close similarity between Andy's voice to that
of John Lennon's.

Supplying Andy with a Directional Mic and some coaching on recording techniques, saw a huge
quantum leap towards a more professional and commerical product. The final polishing was
applied by another Tree Artist, New Zealand's Bob Keeton, who took Andy's basic recording of
"Open Up Your Mind" and applied additional instruments and a new arrangement. Meanwhile
Briish guitarist Chris Adams worked with Andy, giving him assistance on the technical side of
producing professional recordings in a Home Studio.

Andy Hearn is a songwriter who loves making music. He's married with children, love
Football and has a full time career. With such responsibilities, Andy has not performed
"live" on stage with a Band yet but that is likely to change as his reputation as an
artist grows.
