ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Andy Swindell is a survivor! Growing up in the sixties, Swindell’s love for music of all genres was all-possessing. After years of performing and recording as a member of the southern soul circuit institution, The Embers, it was time to reveal his eclectic take on life through his songwriting by recording Living in the Baby Boom.

With a little help from his buddies (including world-class guitarist Audley Freed who was kind enough to play three blazing solos on the record), Andy’s R&B roots are revealed (with a little bit of country, rock and jazz thrown in for good measure). From the swinging blues of Girl’s Got Rhythm to the reggae influenced She’s Got It, this is a fun record created by someone who’s comfortable in his own skin.

According to Swindell, “I think a good album should be like a letter from an old friend.” Give it a listen and you just may become one.
