Exactly what I expected!!!
author: Gerard TremblettThis album is the ultimate smash. I have never listened to a full female artists album and enjoyed every song until I received this one in the mail. From start to finish, Anet keeps your ear tuned to the rythem and vocals, with a "bad girl" attitude that grabs her audience.
Excellent stuff!
author: Dave SmithI have all the cds released by this artist. I am at a loss as to why she remains unsigned, especially when fellow Canadians Avril and Alannis do so well (and I have nothing against those artists by the way). Anet is as good!. This cd is excellent and rocks. Favourite tracks - I don't have any, they are all good. Money well spent!!
Alt pop for a new generation
author: ChrisBy far, this is one of the best CDs of the decade. This disc is a truly enjoyable listen, absolutely devoid of filler: every single song on it is a winner. This CD will appeal especially to those who like the poppier side of alt rock... it's loud in places ("Tortured", "Cursed"), softer in others ("Realness", "Astronauts") and there's some interesting use of technology, a la Garbage ("Die 4 U"). "Normal" is the straight to radio hit, but "Stuff" is the big favourite of everyone that's heard this CD. Or not. It's just a brilliant piece of work, I can't believe Anet are still unsigned. Definitely grab this one, hours of fun and the best bang for your buck... these guys are going to be huge: Remember, you heard it here first!
