Originally sung in a lower key, So Lovely’s instrumental track was originally from one of Haile Maskel’s many unreleased spiritual songs, “Heaven Door”. Angela had requested a higher key in order to better demonstrate her range. Once the track was transposed by Josh Cardinali of Stoney Eye Studios, Maskel decided the song needed its own original bass line, then added the sexy guitar solo. The result is this lush piece of work, full of magic and love vibes.
