Produced by Michael Behm and Angela Harris, 'Family Matters' was written in July 2010 by Michael Behm, Angela Harris and Nat Jay at a songwriters camp that was put on by the British Columbia Country Music Association in Langley, BC. Having never met before, it took a bit to get settled in but before long the three writers had created a trusting space for each of them to begin creating in. At the end of their 5 hour session, Angela, Michael and Nat had completed their first co-write together, 'Family Matters'.
"Family Matters hits me personally...the world is a crazy place right now so I think it's coming at a perfect time. I'm really excited to be releasing this song as my next single", says Angela.
