Another great album from Darol Anger and Mike Marshall should come as no surprise, but I think this may be their best yet. Buy it!

Excellent! Music that pulls us in!
author: Brian
Long-time collaborators Mike Marshall and Darol Anger have again created a treasure unsurpassed by any form or genre of music ever established. Woodshop was largely conceived and recorded by the musicians in homage to their multi-gold selling album Chiaroscuro from 1985. They blend their diverse repertoire of bluegrass, blues, jazz, celtic, and African, Latin and Asian-inspired music into something incredibly new and original. The tunes themselves are difficult to put into words, but the quick, repetitive motifs from "Peter Pan" and the sweet, somber melodies of "Borealis" are sure to please anyone looking for densely beautiful music. Every piece offers a pleasant and rewarding experience, and the artists' solos are fresh and new each time I hear them. I only wish I could play like these guys! But, after playing together for over 30 years now, its understandable that this little digital album holds so much talent. Highly recommended.
