Album Notes

"Not quite 90..." is the debut solo cd from iowa native Angle. An in-depth introduction to an obviously original talent, not to mention a constantly overlooked region, with solid roots set in the golden era of hiphop. A well done resurrection of knowledgable story rhymes and concepts over traditional sample based soundscapes from some of the midwest's most unknown talents in production. A polished delivery with clever word play make this a colorful journey through the winding dusty back roads of iowa's fields to a fertile oasis of rhymes and drums. Angle is totally friggin awesome!!!
