Old Front Porch is a delightfully pure acoustic journey of 11 of Anjie's story-songs, perfectly seasoned with the brilliant string antics of Kevin Breit, the musician who gives Norah Jones her unique musical stylings. Kevin was voted Canada's musician of the year while cutting this project with Anjie. Tracked in London with bass rocker Dave Markee, who played with the greats such as Lennon and Clapton, and brought to life in Toronto, Canada with producer Dan Cutrona at the Number Nine Studio. Dan brilliantly followed the production stylings of authentic and "untouched" as used for the greats such as Emmy Lou and Joni Mitchell. Vocals were virtually one or two takes, and you will feel as if you are truly sitting onthe Old Front Porch with a cool glass of tea while listening. Anjie lovingly titled the album based on a friend's farm she likes to visit in the Carolinas not far from her home.
