Anna Dagmar was three albums into a critically acclaimed songwriting career which wove together colorful jazz harmonies, inviting pop melodies and refined classical piano textures. British-born/NYC-based artist Anna Dagmar cites influences including Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel and Leonard Bernstein. An Eastman School of Music graduate, her third CD, Let the Waves Come in Threes (2009) charted #6 on the National Roots Report. Dagmar is a Gold Prize Winner in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, a Kerrville New Folk Finalist and a member of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop.
