...San Francisco-based elemental enchantress

Anne Carol’s music focuses on reawakening the intrinsic link humans share with the natural world and with one another through an eloquent weave of song, spoken word and a percussively played acoustic guitar. She sings with great love to the wilderness. Her songs call for justice in times of war. She gives voice with an edge of purpose to that which has been silenced and sings sweetly to the unuttered longings of the heart. From activist outcries to seductive melodies, her music invokes courage and is a well of renewal.

Some Anne's past projects include musical directorship of Chasing Polaris, a multi-media performance exploring the Self; Songs for Sagrada, a ritualistic musical performance of devotion to the ocean; co-founder/ director of Visionary Voices, a showcase of women artists. Anne has performed her music at the San Francisco Earth Charter Summit, as well as various peace concerts and rallies in the Bay Area. She has collaborated with Lesbian Feminist poet Judy Grahn and works with artists of all genres locally and from around the world.
