ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Anne Cochran tours regularly with Jim Brickman. She also produces her own songs. This particular song was written for Anne by John Chaffee. I am John. Last year I lost my sister, Lyn, who, after surviving breast cancer for 21 years, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which took her life, two days after her 62nd birthday. The producer of this song, Randy Harper, lost his wife, Hilary, this past August, at the age of 40, to breast cancer. This song does not speak of death, but rather, offers comfort and solace to anyone missing someone at Christmas, whether soldiers in Iraq, families of 9-11 victims, or for any other reason people are apart at the holidays. The CD itself is available at patriciamusic.com, and a portion of the proceeds will be used to further breast cancer initiatives. I am overwhelmed by the very heartfelt response to this song. It has helped me. I hope it helps you.

I really love this song.
I just heard this song today for the first time. My husband died suddenly at Christmas this past year. I was crying as I drove home from work listening to it, I wish I had a replay button in my car. I am so happy to have heard it. It was making me feel like he was with me in the car with me. I just purchased several CD for I can share this with family and friends.

Someone is Missing at Christmas
By Anne Cochrane
I heard this 3 christmas ago and it was the First Christmas without my dad who had passed away 2 months before. I cried all the way to my Mom's house then picked her up and went to the mall to buy it
I dedicate this to my Hero MY DAD every year
It never gets any easier but at least I do feel he is here with me when I listen to this song!

someone is missing at christmas
beautiful song. I lost my dad in april to lung cancer and my mom 30 days later to a masssive stroke, so its been a really hard year for me this song touched my heart. I cry when I hear it. The two most important people in my life are gone. I miss and think of them every day. This song is sooooo true when I hear it, i think of what wonderful parents i had and how they will be deeply missed, especially not having them with us over the holidays their chairs will remain empty

Missing my Daddy...
I heard this song for the first time today. My Daddy died just over two years ago and it feels like so much less time has passed than that. I loved this song when I heard it. I was in my car leaving Sam's Club and was in tears. It fits sooo well. Thank you so much for writing and releasing this. It will help my family greatly this year, as it will Many, Many others!!!

A song with so much meaing.
My husband died of cancer a little over a year ago. I miss him so, but the memories grow sweeter and sweeter. This song reflects that blessings of remembering. I cry every time I hear it. Thank you for writing it.
