"Drifitng" was really one of those songs that evolved out of nothing in particular. It is a true culmination of all of the events from the past year of my life. I felt as if I was just drifting from one relationship to the next. For some reason it really had me feeling defeated. I don’t know if it was the fact that things weren’t working out with all of my new found loves, or the fact that I was still dwelling on a past, lost love. Either way, I came to the realization that the day I do find that person who wants to be mine forever, will be simply beautiful. Until then, I will gladly wait with an open heart.
