How sweet it is to see this record reissued! No more straining to squeeze fidelity out of my old worn out '58 vinyl pressing...brilliantly remastered...a classic mellow vocal album everyone should hear. If you like Helen Merrill, Beverly Kenney or Julie London you owe it to yourself to check this one out!

Anne Phillips has somehow escaped me for too many years. Ran across her on my cable TV's music channel, and ordered this CD from CD Baby. It's a replay-and-replay-again piece. A truly beautiful voice, interpreting great standards with both heart and intelligence, and backed by a fine combination of jazz greats (Milt Hinton, Doc Severinsen,Mundell Lowe, et al) and well arranged strings. Her rendering of "I Don't Want To Walk Without You" is to die for -- worth the full price of the CD all by itself!
