This CD features the song "Don't Keep Me Waiting", written by Martin Briley (Famous for the 80's hit "Salt in My Tears"

Anne-Regina's professional career started with performances of Carmen, La Boheme and Kurt Weill's Street Scene with The New York City Opera Company, and The Metropolitan Opera Company, just to mention a few.

Anne also stared in the off Broadway production of Oliver, as the Artful Dodger.

As a member of AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists), Anne appeared in several TV commercials, such as The Singer Sewing Machine Company, Burger King and several others.

In the late 90's, Anne became more involved in writing songs, singing and performing live, and perfecting her own style of pop music.

At that time, she met producer, arranger and guitarist John Gatto who had a very successful music career.

Both are voting members of NARAS The Recording Academy (The Grammys).

As a team they have successfully produced Anne-Regina's first CD, titled Best Kept Secret.

Rating:7/10 Long Island Press ANNE-REGINA BEST KEPT SECRET (QOPEL) WWW.ANNEREGINA.COM The world could surely do without another Jessica Simpson or Kylie Minogue, but Anne-Regina (transplanted from Queens to Bayville, Long Island) has a team of writers behind her that even Britney Spears could use. With lots of multi-tracked vocals and big, slick production, Best Kept Secret is tailor made and ready for top-10 commercial radio. Starting with dance pop that merges Shakira and latter day No Doubt, "Who Loves You" is the most immediate single, surging with faux-orchestra hits that are derisively conventional. But that's only a small problem here. After cribbing some lyrics from Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" on "Ooh," Anne-Regina eventually shows off her vocal range on "Don't Keep Me Waiting." "I Learned From You" is her serious, Whitney Houston side and "What Type of Guy" is her playful side. The local diva (who's been in TV commercials and opera companies) shouldn't need to fall into the Simpson/Minogue sex-kitten mold with a voice and songs like these, especially when she's good enough to sing the national anthem at a Long Island Ducks game later this year. —Kenyon Hopkin

Pop Music the way it should be!

Long Island is famous for it's pop artist: Debbie Gibson, Mariah Carrey, Taylor Dayne, etc. Now there's Anne-Regina. Not only does she have the look and the moves, she has the talent. This isn't just "image" like Britney or Christina. Anne-Regina is the real deal. Her upbeat pop/R&B songs like the hit "Who Loves You" or "I'm Better Than That" will grab you with their hooks. The lyrics aren't just the same 5 words over and over again. There is true meaning to each song. Anne's ballads are sung with such emotion, you can't help but feel the pain and/or joy of each one.

Great Sound. This is better then that! What a great vocal! Wonderful song. Really sweet. You really are better then that. That, being some of the stuff that's on the radio now. Great feel and such a groove. The hook is very good. Infectious is the word. The background vocals are superb. Really nice job here. The song was over to fast....
