Ann Klein has established herself as one of downtown New York's premier guitarists and writers. She has released three cds, "Driving You Insane" (out of print), "For the Love of Love" (available at CD BABY) and her 2002 release, "Waiting for the Snow." She has toured Europe extensively in support of her records, she has gotten rave reviews from the likes of Billboard, Relix and local press both in the States and in Europe. As a guitarist, she has played with Ani DiFranco, Joan Osborne, Toshi Reagon, Kate Pierson of the B-52s, PM Dawn and others.
She has also been the recipient of a MacDowell Colony Grant and wrote the music for a documentary about William Burroughs for France 3 (French television).

Superb like always!

Finally, a new release of Ann Klein! I can´t await to hear the new CD of Ann, but i had to wait until the Gig at my Hometown to get the CD, because it´s very difficult to get a Disc of Ann in Europe! The Day of the Gig has come, and i had the pleasure to hear most all of them LIVE! And they sound great! ´Tell me why´ is one of the Highlights of the new album, it still echoed after 2 Days in my Head! A song called "Match burn twice", which was written by Joan Oasbourne and surrender to Ann is also on the Album and it´s also a fine song! Her affection to Country Music shines throu the song "Goodbye Charade" and it fills the hole to "Cowboy Poets" from ´Driving you insane´! I love her Country songs, real great! The song "Waiting for the Snow" are her thoughts and feelings to the insanity of the 11th September! "Cyberspace Lover", a rocky tune, sound live as great as on the CD! "Never enough" is also a Highlight of "Waiting for the Snow"! And at last Ann wishes us all a "Happy new Year"! Great Album! A Must Have, like the Others!

This is the third great CD I've purchased by her. It's tough to pick out seperate songs but; 'Real Love', 'Match Burn Twice' and 'Goodbye Charade' are particularly good. My favorite would have to be 'I'm in the Moment', though. Her stuff is so much better than anything you'll hear on the radio that you owe it to yourself to give her a try.
