Album Notes

The Anonomous Crew is a work in progress. Since their 1997 establishment, they're interesting blend of jazzy beats and thoughtful rhymes has captivated the tri-state (MD-DC-VA) area. Their first full-length release, "The Eponymous Debut," is a collection of songs carefully recorded over two years.

The crew is perhaps best known for their live performances, involving a full band (bass, guitar, drums, percussion), two MCs (Jesus and Seezmics) and an all-around hype-man producer/beetboxer/dancer, MaxB. Anonomous has performed all over DC, Maryland, and Virginia. They hope their energy is reflected in this freshman release.

All three main group members vibe with each other creatively, developing each song together and infusing each track with their own individuality. Jesus is a soft-spoken, energetic yet poetic MC with years of experience. Seezmics has a rougher edge, and his characteristic rumblings are quite well-loved. He has recently released a solo-album entitled "Educated Consumers" which has been praised in many circles. MaxB is the group's producer and song-writer. He has a broad musical background including Suzuki method piano and acoustic guitar as well as the typical electronic tools of rap production. His beetbox skills are said to be "second to none."

The crew looks forwards to critiques of this first album, as well as the excitement of recording new songs and performing world-wide.
