Album Notes

"Old Hat's Return" is the second album by English singer-songwriter Anthony J.Quinn. It comes over 10 years after his debut "In A Foreign Part Of The Town" (see www.cdbaby.com/cd/anthonyjquinn2 on the "links" ) He pledges it will not be another decade before his third album as in the intervening decade he has stored many songs which he will eventually record.
From his youth he has been fascinated by poetry and song and is influenced by "songwriter/poets" like Dylan, Paul Simon and Leonard Cohen. The poetic word structures on both his debut and "Old Hat's Return" are indeed testimony to this. His lifestyle is very much like that of Cohen in that he is reclusive and rarely plays live. If you are undecided as to wether to download any of his songs from this CD Baby page, then listen ed to them in their entirety on Rhapsody, Spotify and other digital sites.
