In the summer of 2008, Rankin teamed up with fellow singer/songwriter Dom Liberati to record a split album comprised of previous material by both artists, revised in a bare bones, acoustic format. After a limited physical CD release entitled 'Frailty & Desire,' the pair released separate EPs under their own names (Rankin's titled 'Desire' and Liberati's 'Frailty') containing all material from the split LP, plus one additional track each.
This acoustic EP is currently only available as a digital download, and exposes six of Rankin's best songs in a new light. Enveloped in intimate, roomy performances and unobtrusive production, lyrics and melodies shine through like never before.
