2004: the Magnetic Year
A new chapter in the long history of Anthrophobia is ready to be heard. The new CD, Magnetic, has just been released and the band is beyond excited for your ears to hear it.
Anthrophobia still exists for a few basic primal reasons: the band are at the top of their game, kicking ass live, have just released their best set of music to date; and most importantly, still enjoy playing and creating music together. After 14 months of writing, demoing, recording, rerecording, mixing and mastering, Anthrophobia have finally released a CD that they feel accurately represents them as a rock entity.
Magnetic incorporates inspirations and elements from all of the previous 'Phobia catalog, taking experiments and risks within the band's creative walls, as well as pushing them to new limits. The band are never reap in their satisfaction and self gradifacations for long. 2005 shows the band writing and performing new songs again. The band will enter the studio in winter 2005 for a '06 release.
As always, Thanks for listening.

Blender music!
author: Martin Pennington
Blend elements heavy rock, metal, and a touch of stoner and hardcore. This CD is an ecletic batch of great songs! The highlight is the stoner-rock anthem, Hovercraft. This song doesn't sound like the typical riff-rock like High on Fire, type stuff, Hovercraft is a dynamic rollercoaster ride of a song. Classic stuff.

Rock at it's Finest!
author: Jerry Stallworth
Another top notch release from the most under rated powerhouse the Pa. music scene has ever had. MAGNETIC is a more mature release than when the band was signed to BMG, their big time break back in the late 90's. The songs and lyrics are develped to a point where these songs could become rock and roll standards if this band was on the radio! "Adding Insults", "Breathing Room" and "Pacifer" are better songs than most everything out on radio, in the vein of Hinder, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, etc. The best songs however, aren't the obvious radio rock songs. "The Calming Effects of Skydiving" and the epic "Hovercraft" are a complete 180 from each other in tempo but both are the kind of songs that you bang your head to when you are driving and the guy in the next lane things you are crazy! You can't control yourself. Everyone should know about thisa band and CD. it is MAGNETIC, the title says it all.

AWESOME
author: Pam
This is an amazing CD that show the bands range of talent. Heavy and fast songs like Gutless, to the catchy Breathing Room, and a little bit of everything combined in The Calming Effects Of Skydiving. This is not your typical metal band they are way better.

Rocked Me In Pittsburg!!
author: Gil Zero
I just saw Anthrophobia for the first time in Pittsburg. My boyfriend bought the CD called Magnetic. The music is just that, it draws you in and gets better with each listen. The lyrics are great and it's a good thing they are at their website because at times I can't tell what the hell the singer is screaming! the singer has a growling Neil Fallon meets Henry Rollins tone to it and matches the music perfectly. The best songs are the most radio friendly like Breathing Room and wearing Thin. But the song Gutless is totally hummable and catchy especially for a fast screamy song. ASnthrophobia has new fans in the Burg. Come back soon.
