Album Notes

Ganymede's Numbers was made by Ryan Kimmo Randle aka Anti Alles of the band Better Days spanning from 2006 to 2007 and finally released to mass public in 2008. The albums is mixture of trip-hop and electronica rhythms, dance beats, melancholy guitar and keys, neo-psychedelic grooves, aggressive and capturing lyrics all merged into a one awesome album that everyone can feel.

The title comes from Ganymede, the prince of Troy whom Zeus abducted and made a slave of the gods, but was eventually put in the heavens as the constellation, Aquarius.

Most of the album was made while Anti Alles was on unemployment and had time to let his creativity roam. The vocal tracks were written most of the time when Ryan Randle was inebriated off cheap White Wolf vodka. This tool was instrumental in his cathartic expressions.

The album tracks were originally numbers as he just randomly started making songs. Interesting titles he found mostly in out-dated encyclopedias were placed over the numbers to give them each their own individuality. Over 40 tracks were produced, but only thirty-three were selected, like his two previous albums, Thought Criminal [2006] and Karma Eleven [2004]. The number thirty-three has nothing to with the Illuminati infiltrated groups of Freemasonry, but more of a reminder of all his coincidences, numerology, astrology, and curiosities.

Ganymede’s Numbers begins with a sample of the ending of the move Sybil, and ends with a sample from the beginning of the movie. Also in the final track, Pollux & Castor, Ryan’s twin brother, Steffan Jari Randle plays the harpsichord while their Gemini mother, Riikka Rantala, is recorded singing a Finnish lullaby.

A must have album for any electro, underground hip-hop, indie or dub fans. Find more of his music @ www.Myspace.com/AntiAlles.
