CASSIDY RISING!!!
author: Cynthia Giruzzi-Cahill
This is the AR debut of Cassidy. She is an incredible addition to an already hot female rock group. Cassidy's vocal and writing talents will blow your mind. My favorite song on this CD is Michael. It was written by K. Henderson who plays rhythm guitar. This is a true song about a friend of hers that died. It will stir your soul! I highly recommend this CD as well as all AR CD's. 24:40 = King Crimson "Beat" 1982 less "Requiem" Long
author: OEdipus Tyrannus - King Crypto
Amazing vocal harmonies. Cassidy's voice doesn't yet have nowadays' depth or the goosebumping register of the "Baaabe..." cry in "StoryBook Romance", that makes me sing "what a whole lotta love" along while being urged to climb the closest wall. Her voice is now within a triangle with Sinnead O'Connor's, Sheryl Crow's, and Alanis Morissette's voices as vertices. "Prety Girl" has a feeling of ...Genesis "...from Genesis to Revelation" 1969. "Michael (So Invincible)" and "Better" also appear on "From the Ground Up" live 2005 CD. On "Better", Dena, bless her, sounds almost BillBrufordian. The best track, the last one, "Promise of a Friend" even credits her as #1 among the four song co-writers. Her eclectic drumming on this track sustains my early intuition of wanting to at least borrow her for our band's (King Crypto and Enigel-the-Lapp-Lass) musical projects (perhaps both bands will do Waters's "The Wall" some day). If Teri does not appear on "Michael", as implied by the liner notes, then who plays bass on that track? And, by the way, ever heard of this band? Ante - Gone Fishing: Agona Hardison - oboe, Autumn Worthington - tuba, Penelope "Peppy" 'Cruz' Kokines-Sanborn - saxes, Teri Avella - clarinet, Suzanne Obolsky - flute, Floyd Pepper - bass, Animal - drums, Mr. Bean - leadvocals, choreography, pantomime. Enjoy!

I first saw th eband back in 2002 in New Jersey at the Stone Pony opening for Joe Bonamassa. I have since seen them 4 other times and they are getting better each time. This was the first CD I had from them along with "Just say AN-TIG-O-NE" and each and every album is better than the last, Keep rocking Girls, see you soon! Peace, Tony B
