Anti Social Degenerates is a anarcho hardcore punk band founded in 1987 by Vern Obnoxious (Sean Varney), Jarrod (Jerry Wolny), Bing (Dave Bingham), Kearns (Steve Kearns) in the north east side of Metro Detroit. ASD was the youngest, fastest and most ferocious political band in the Detroit - Toledo area with ages ranging from 14-16yrs of age. Their average song length usually consisted of 90 seconds of thrashing distortion combined with break neck blast beats. The band put out 3 full lengths and two EP demos with 2 different drummers over the next four years. In 1991 ANTI SOCIAL DEGENERATES went on hiatus to do other hardcore, punk, dis-crust projects. After 15 years they reformed in 2006 for a show w/ Murphy's Law with the original 1987 line-up. Shortly after this show the band replaced Jarrod with Rob Vandermass on guitar. Rob changed the dynamic of the band and his shredding metal sound shows up on "FROM CHAOS TO WHENEVER". The 13 song LP/CD is a anthology of re-recorded ASD songs that appeared on various demos from 1987-1991 + The 2007 single and opening track "WORKING CLASS WAR". ASD is a DIY anarcho hardcore punk band in it's purest form. Everything a hardcore punk band should becomprised of. Impressionable verses, choruses with a message and solutions, shredding, distorted guitar riffs. A sonic boomming bass that rides the blasting beats created by a powerful dynamic drummer. One minute it makes you want to pogo in it's discourse and the next, frenzy into a circle pit. 2 decades of chaos ! Screaming "Fuck the System" from the same political platform they started developing in the Reagan Administration. Pure Integrity! Expressing idealism, new concepts, exploitating the warmongers & right wing capitalist, corrupt goverments, beurocracies and corperations.............................well you get the drift. I'm Fucking pissed. It's a working class war WE ARE HERE TO FIGHT !

Anti Social Degenerates -"From Chaos To Whenever" (4/5) This album arrived just in time. I was seriously starting to think that real punk bands had gone the way of the Do-Do bird. This album's sound brings me back to the days of DRI, Angry Samoans, The Meatmen, etc... The guitar has a dark sinister sound on most of the songs, the lyrics are harsh and politically incorrect, while the beats lead the band in full speed frenzy. This album is distorted and dissonant music, full of anger and attitude. If you're like me and miss this type of no holds bar style of punk or want to experience it get this CD ASAP. Once you get it put it into your stereo and blast the motherfucker as loud as it will go. Before you know it there will be a full blown circle pit in your living room.

Anti Social Degenerates are not new kids with daddies money buying their brand new Gibsons,sleeve tattoos and clothes fresh from Hot Topic.They have been around a long fukkin time,all are vetrans of various other projects when ASD was not cranking it out.All have earned their credibilty and whatever future fame or fortune come their way.
Do yourself a favor pick up From Choas to Whenever and you'll pogo,mosh,slam and smile thanks to the work of Vern,Rob Vandermass,D.Bing,and Steve Kearns work.

ANTI SOCIAL DEGENERATES - " From Chaos to Whenever" CD
With a name like that and the CD cover looking like it does. I was ready to slam this for being an unimaginative streetpunk/Punk Core atrocity, but wait - there's more here then that. These guys are from Detroit and have been around since 1987 so they get OG credit! This is something of a comeback CD, and I have to say it is not bad at all. Total UK punk on the harsher edge, with some venomous vocals, and not polished like some bands of this style. Not bad at all!!!
