Album Notes

Making a name for themselves with their own brand of indie pop/rock, the Southern California band ANY OLD JOE, is ready to bring their unique sound to the masses. College roommates Shaun and Steve came together with dreams of playing music in 1998. After several lineup and name changes, what now exists is a band that strives to exhibit artistic excellence while conveying honesty, vulnerability, and faith through their music. Their debut album, Changes, released in 2003, blends pop melodies with passionate, steady rock.

With energetic live performances, ANY OLD JOE has toured California and has played at Hollywood clubs including the Roxy, Whisky A Go-Go, and the El Rey Theatres. They have opened for bands such as Further Seems Forever, Slick Shoes, Pax 217, Caedmon's Call, Falling Up, and Joy Electric. Making North Hollywood, California, their home base, ANY OLD JOE is ready to take on the music world with a new EP The Pictures That You Keep. These 5 songs are a giant artistic step forward. The melodic pop gem "Huntington" will have you singing along, and the driving rock of "Silence Never Heard" will make you want to put your fist in the air. ANY OLD JOE is ready for the next level, and wants you there right along with them.
