Album Notes

Academie of FarSide was founded sometime in early 2003 by Oka (drums), Faisal on guitars and Yessi on keyboards. At first the group was meant to be another progressive metal band but after realizing that "we can't sell what is already sold", the founding trio decided to change the concept to a live progressive experimental band.

Windig Notes is not regarded as an album by the band, but merely a recording project, because if you want to really hear the band, you should come and watch them on stage.

The music in this CD tickles & astonishes you at the same time! It's so wackily amazing & original! If Kylie Minogue sings in Dream Theatre, Quentin Tarantino is Asian, Frank Zappa collaborate with Indonesian student rioters, then you have Academie of FarSide! Their music has certainly inspired me to make better music. Everybody should buy this CD!
