Book Every Saturday for a Funeral
author: Reba Sumner
I heard Andy Irwin at the National Storytelling
Festival, Jonesborough, TN. The CD was almost as good as he was in person. I will definitely recommend it to my friends. He is a true artist
with a special gift. He make you feel like you
know the people in his stories.

As wonderful as Christmas at Southern White Old Lady Hospital is!

Great fun! Even more memories brought back as I'm in Covington with my family again. Andy tells stories on this CD that had me virtually in the hardware store and his van with him. I know these people I've never met and so do you. The only bad thing about Andy's CDs is that they come to an end. Can't wait to hear more Offutt!

Excellent work from a brilliant craftsman. Highly recommended.

I bought three copies of this a couple of weeks ago - two for Christmas gifts and one for myself. It's beautifully crafted character portrayal and charmingly quirky wit deftly corralled into engaging stories. Andy's extraordinary talent for impersonation leaves one with the impression that his Aunt Marguerite is standing beside him on the stage with her own microphone. The stories are appropriate for any age group or family gathering (we listened as a three-generation family on Christmas afternoon this year), but they never come off as stilted, stale or trite. All three generations were laughing, even the teenagers. Andy Offut Irwin is the modern Southern Bill Cosby.

Perfect once again

My daughter and I were in stitches through the majority of it, and I'm just proud to say I knew ya when......You need to do a show up here at the college, give some of your old professors a laugh... again. Have a BLESSED Christmas and New Year!
